Ferrari 599 GTO Photogged On the Pavement

Ferrari CEO Amedeo Feliza came clean about the upcoming 599 GTO earlier this month and while we’ve enjoyed posting pictures of the tracktastic 599 XX, we’ve been itching to see what Ferrari has in store for the big GTO revival. Well, luckily for us, the dedicated auto paps never tire of snapping camo-clad test dummies and have returned some close-ups of the GTO testing in Maranello.
The 599 GTO blends elements of the 599 GTB and 599 XX for a ride that’s equally at home at the track or in the garage. Styling elements to note are the blacked out roof and rear views courtesy of the XX and the more prominent rear diffuser that’s bigger than the GTB but not quite as extreme as the XX.
The 599 GTO is expected to feature a suped version of the 599′s V12 engine worth around 700 hp. We look forward to seeing more of this one in the near future. [via MotorAuthority]
