2010dodgeviper2 Dodge Viper Updated for Its Final Year

The Dodge Viper is reportedly about to enter its last year of production with just 500 more examples to be built in 2010. Dodge isn’t letting its high-end sports car slip into the night without making a few final tweaks, though.

2010 Viper SRT10 owners can expect a shorter fifth-gear ratio that increases top-end acceleration, cutting the 0 to 200 mph dash by 14 seconds, and two new color choices: Toxic Orange Pearl Coat and Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat. Additionally a wider dual race stripe pattern will be employed. American Club Racer (ACR) models will also get a revised wing and short-throw shifter.

Dodge promises that plenty of limited edition models will be available across the Viper line and it kicks that promise off with the 33-run Viper ACR 1:33 Edition and 10-run Voodoo-edition Viper 2010. [via AutoBlog]
