Dodge Ram to Move Into Commercial Vehicle Market

During Chrysler’s five-year rundown last month, we came to find out that Dodge would be split into a separate car and truck division. With that groundwork laid out, Ram, the truck arm, is focusing on boosting global sales into the future–from 280,000 to 415,000 by 2014.
One of the means of doing so is by introducing commercial vehicles including commercial vans and possibly big-rig trucks. Two vans are scheduled to be launched by 2012 and Dodge will get some help from Fiat, who already has commercial vans in Europe, in getting these to market. [via egmCarTech]
