Design Study: BMW Sequence GT
By Chris Weiss
It’s pretty easy to tell when more than a little motivation behind a given design study was to make onlookers scratch their scalps and ponder aloud: “What the shit is that thing?!” Of no surprise to anyone, we’re confident the BMW Sequence GT is one of those.
Designer Seungmo Lim, a graduate student at Pforzheim University in Germany, set out to make a car that offers driving pleasure mixed with blue architecture. We’re not entirely sure that he succeeded there, but we’ve been mumbling “wts?” ever since we saw it, so at least one mission was accomplished.
We’re pretty sure that no car company with the letters B-M-W would welcome that broken-toothed spork of a front-end, but the wheel-mounted motors and solar-powered recharging station sound about right for a green concept. More pics after the jump. [via Carscoop]
