Lancia Delta Chrysler Rumored to Be Bringing the Lancia Delta to the States

As Chrysler and Lancia seek to move their operations closer and develop models together, word is that we might see a car or two from the Italian automaker here in the States. The attractive Lancia Delta hatchback is rumored to be among the vehicles working its way into the U.S. market disguised as a Chrysler. The new import would provide Chrysler with a quick and dirty means of competing with luxury cars such as the Audi A3 without requiring any new development on its own. Other cars within the Fiat Group rumored to be coming stateside are the Fiat 500 and a number of Alfa Romeos. While it’s pure conjecture at this point, news of a little European flair within the U.S. auto market is certainly a positive. [via AutoBlog]
