Chevy Volt to Offer IPhone/Blackberry App

If this keeps up, Chevy is going to make a name for itself as the techy automaker. In a story we missed from the LA Auto Show, Chevy is planning on introducing iPhone/Blackberry functionality into its highly anticipated Volt electric. The first app will allow users of the aforementioned smartphones to control the charging via their phones.
That will just be the tip of the iceberg, and Chevy plans to offer more advanced apps later down the line, with functions like communicating with the phone to tell you when charging is complete being speculated. [GM-Volt via Dvice]
