Chevy Rolls Its Volt MPV5 Concept Out in Beijing
By Chris Weiss
The Chevy Volt is already one of the most anticipated GM releases in years, and GM is using the Beijing Auto Show to demonstrate another potential vehicle that could be spun from the Volt platform. The five-seat crossover is powered by a lithium-ion T battery that delivers 32 miles per charge and a 1.4-liter engine generator that adds just under 300 miles more.
Other interesting features of the concept include a glass-panel roof, 1,764 liters worth of cargo space with the rear seats folded and extra aerodynamics provided by the closed grille and lower air dam. Get a better look in the gallery after the break. [via Carscoop]
