Thanks to a leaked internal BMW memo, we can say pretty confidently that a 335is coupe and convertible are in the works and coming to North America. The new BMWs will each feature the N54 twin-turbo six which will output either 322 or 344 hp and 332 lb-ft. The latter will be boosted by an overdrive function that delivers an additional 37 lb-ft on demand. Six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions will be offered.

Notable external tweaks include sport exhaust with black chrome tailpipes, 18-inch Ferric Grey alloy wheels and a rear diffuser in body color.

Production is slated to begin in March for the Cabriolet and May for the hard top. The two cars are expected to make a debut in Geneva. [via WCF]
