BMW Sells One Millionth 1 Series

One million sales is such a nice, PR-friendly number isn’t it? That’s even more true when it just happens to coincide with a major expo show in your neck of the woods.
BMW used the Leipzig Motor Show to showcase its millionth 1 Series, handing the keys over to the happy new owner of a three-door 118d. The 1 Series is produced in Leipzig as well as Regensburg and has been on the market for five years. Of the million 1′s sold, over a third have been sold in Germany. [via WCF]
