BMW C1-E Enclosed, Electric Scooter Concept

If you thought the regular scooter drained every ounce of dignity out of the motorcycle, you were wrong–there were a few ounces left. They’re now officially all gone thanks to the BMW C1-E enclosed scooter. Perhaps the most awkward thing on two wheels, the C1-E concept is based on BMW’s short-lived C1 enclosed scooter from earlier in the decade. However, this one includes an emissions-free electric motor and lithium ion batteries. If you hadn’t guessed, safety is key to the C1-E’s design and BMW mixes new features such as tire pressure control, ABS and stability control with C1 features like aluminum safety cage and side bumpers.
