BMW will pull the sheets off an ActiveHybrid version of the 5 Series sedan at the Geneva Motor Show this March. More than just a concept, the 5 Series ActiveHybrid will debut in Europe sometime after the show. BMW didn’t offer any details of the hybrid engine or production timetable for the hybrid model. The company also didn’t specify whether the car will make it overseas to the U.S.

In June, we can expect to see the 550i and 535i hit U.S. streets. The 550i relies on a twin-turbo V8 engine spitting 400 horses onto the wheels, while the 535i features a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 306 horses.  [Auto News via WCF]
