BMW Announces U.S. Pricing for 2011 740i and 740Li

The new 740i and 740Li will be hitting the U.S. this spring and BMW dropped the pricing this week. We’ll get straight to the meat of the story–the 740i will base at $71, 025 and the 740Li will start at $75,425. That’ll buy you the first six-cylinder 7-Series available in the U.S. for nearly 20 years.
Both cars feature a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six providing 315 hp and 330 lb-ft. A six-speed automatic transmission bestows that power unto the rear wheels. The 740i will trot to 60 in 5.9 seconds while the 740Li will be close behind at 6. All the traditional 7-Series fixins will be available including M Sport Package and Driver Assistance Package.
