Continental Supersports 9 Bentley Mulling A Continental Supersports Convertible

The Bentley Continental Supersports may not look like it needs anymore tweaking, but Bentley is considering issuing a soft-top version, according to a report on Car and Driver. The Supersports is Bentley’s best answer to the supercar–with a 6.0-liter 621 hp V12, the Supersports is capable of a 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds, as well as a 204 mph top speed–not bad for a car as big and broad as a Bentley Continental. With those credentials, tearing the roof off might be the only way left to make the Continental any cooler than it already is. While Bentley is considering a convertible version, it has not yet commited to adding the eigth Continental model. For now, we’ll just have to settle for the 2010 Supersports, which goes on sale this month for a price of $273, 295. [Car and Driver via Motor Authority]
