Behind-the-Build Video of 2011 Audi R8 Spyder

If you’re an incorrigible auto tinkerer, 2010 has been a great year for you. Earlier in the year, Bentley put together a nice multi-part series on the building of the Mulsanne, and now Audi has released a build video of the new R8 Spyder. Watch the sexy Spyder get built from the frame up by a hand-selected staff in Audi’s Neckarsulm, Germany plant. The plant pumps out about 27 to 28 models a day.
Frankly, the video’s a little slower and less interesting than Bentley’s, especially given the lack of any narration, but it’s worth a look if you like to see the car behind the car or just want to spend a little time with the drop-top R8.
