Audi R10 Supercar Rendering: Let’s Hope Not

We sure hope that if Audi ever does decide to best its R8 supercar, the R10 (or whatever it’s labeled) doesn’t look much like this. Sure the car benefits from a muscular stance and curvaceous body; the front end actually looks quite endearing. But what the hell is with the shrunken-head roofline?! It looks like the rendered R10 has suffered from the first crunch at the junk yard and is about to be fully flattened and stacked. It wouldn’t be surprising in the least if this R10 was the next supercar to end up in a lake thanks to that tiny windshield that provides little visibility.
The back-end isn’t exactly flattering either and offers a rather drastic vehicular badonk–and not the good kind. The design was presented by 23-year-old design student Marouane Bembli, so at least he’ll have plenty of time to learn. [Car via WCF]
