2011 audi a7 2 Audi Drops Cloth on 2011 A7

Audi launched its new A7 four-door today in an event that took place at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich and was broadcast on its Facebook page. Wow, two Facebook unveils on one day–to what do we owe the misfortune pleasure?

The new A7 will be powered by choice of two diesel and two gas engines, starting off with a 2.8-liter FSI and 3.0-liter TFSI V6 options that deliver 204 and 300 hp respectively. On the diesel front, Audi will offer two versions of the 3.0-liter TDI V6: an efficient version worth 204 hp and over 44 mpg, and a power version that delivers 245 hp and still maintains a healthy eco-factor at just over 39 mpg. The A7 will come in both front- and all-wheel drive variants.

Audi has dumped plenty of aluminum into the A7′s body and parts to cut 20 percent off the total weight. Moving inside, the A7 is primped with a MMI with touchpad interface, heads-up display, WLAN hotspot functionality and Google services.

We’ll see the sportback in the States later this year. [via MotorAuthority]
