Audi is definitely on top of eco-tech at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Yesterday, it gave a glimpse at the new Audi A1 e-tron concept and it also has an A8 Hybrid concept debuting at the show.

Audi boasts about the hybrid A8′s V6-esque power and V4-like fuel consumption. The concept receives a combination of a turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder and electric motor that churn out a total of 245 horses and 354 lb-ft. The car includes a trunk-mounted li-ion battery pack.

As far as Audi’s power v. efficiency claims, the A8 Hybrid’s 245 horses pull the four-door to 62 in 7.6 seconds while chugging fuel at the leisurely rate of nearly 38 miles per gallon. Top speed is just over 146 mph. Take a walkaround in the gallery below. [via AutoBlog]
