Arcimoto Pulse Three-Wheeled EV

The latest addition to the three-wheeled electric field is the Eugene, Oregon-based Arcimoto Pulse. The tandem two-seater features a 96-volt electric power system behind a DC electric motor that provides 80 lb-ft of torque. Arcimoto claims a 55 mph top speed and a range of 50 to 100 miles. The company puts the vehicle’s efficiency at 190 mpg. If you’ve been itching to get into the three-wheeler market, you can reserve your own Pulse for a $500 deposit–no final price has been set, but it’s expected to remain under $20K. 300 Pulses are expected to be produced for late next year.
