2011 Ford Super Duty Unveiled in Texas
Sep 25, 2009 - By Alex Ion
The last version of the best-selling heavy-duty truck in America just saw light at the Texas State Fair. Coming with an all-new transmission and two upgraded diesel and gasoline engines, the 2011 Ford Super Duty is expected to deliver the “widest array of solutions for the widest array of heavy-duty work truck customers”. One choice is for the 6.7-liter “Scorpion” Power Stroke V8 engine that has been developed entirely in-house, while the other is a 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine will optionally deliver more horsepower and better fuel economy. Looking more like the Super Chief concept and featuring increased towing and payload capability, we have no doubts that the new 2011 Ford Super Duty will carry the heritage of Ford’s previous models with pride.
