Dodge Challenger Gets ‘Plum’ Makeover

We’re pretty sure you don’t get much street cred racing around in a muscle car decked out in a color scheme called ‘plum’. Regardless, Dodge has announced that it will be offering the Challenger R/T and SRT8 in its Plum Crazy Pearl Coat–a classic paint scheme from Dodges of yesteryear. The limited edition models will feature a choice of matte black or bright white racing stripes. While plum doesn’t make for the toughest sounding car on the block, it certainly provides for a killer look. The Plum Crazy R/T, which features a 376 hp powerplant, will start at $35,140 while the 425 hp SRT8 will run $44,155. The future will tell if there are any lavender or fuschia versions down the pipeline.  [via egmCarTech]
