1,000 Potentially Proud Owners Reserve Their Ford Fiestas

It’s been just over a week since Ford pulled the curtain on the U.S. Fiesta in LA, and the response has been predictably hot. Ford has received more than 1,000 reservations for the new subcompact since launching its microsite last Thursday.
Reservations have been spread nationwide, with 47 different states represented, so expect to see a Fiesta or two on your local road shortly after they ship in the summer.
Of course, those that reserved didn’t drop any money down and really have no obligation to actually purchase the car, so numbers could be skewed a bit. Those that do go through with the buy will receive a wealth of special treatment including a free SYNC package with navigation system and upgraded sound system. [via Carscoop]
